Overview

Keele University is nestled in the north of Staffordshire midway between Birmingham and Manchester and just minutes from the city of Stoke-on-Trent, offering two residential and one non-residential conference and meeting venues.

From our 19th century Grade-II listed mansion to our newly refurbished modern lecture spaces and bedrooms, our rural campus, voted the Most Beautiful in the Midlands, blends the old with the new to create the perfect backdrop to any event.

Keele Hall is available for conference and events year-round, contains the largest banqueting suite in Staffordshire and is host to our award winning catering team. The original features around the hall provide a unique backdrop to any event, and the gardens that surround the hall are perfect for summer receptions and team building events.

This is contrasted by our modern teaching spaces, over 60 conference, meeting and training rooms, tiered theatres and exhibition spaces available throughout the Easter and Summer vacation months, with ensuite campus accommodation as standard and all the amenities of a modern venue.

The Denise Coates Foundation Building, located on the University Enterprise Zone is the newest addition to our venue profile. It has a variety of event space including lecture and seminar rooms, meeting rooms, boardrooms, exhibition space and a digital suite all centred around a modern open plan business lounge offering a range of seating options.

In February 2021, Courtyard by Marriott Keele Staffordshire opened on the edge of the Campus offering 150 bedrooms, Scholars Restaurant, Bar, Lounges and a Fitness Suite.  Keele University Events and Conferencing work in partnership with the hotel to offer year round accommodation for their events, alongside residential conference packages, Christmas and wedding accommodation packages.  The hotel is ideal for delegates looking to stay on campus to attend a day event, can be booked with the conference team or you can book direct with the hotel when visiting the university or surrounding area.

"We were really impressed by the team who were very helpful throughout the whole event. We were also delighted with the Staffordshire themed buffet."
